Melanie Mejia ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Praise & Petals mobile application (the "Service"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information and spiritual reflections you entrust to our app.
Praise & Petals is designed as a private, local-first journaling application.
The Service does not use third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising networks that collect or share your data.
Because your data is stored entirely on your device, we have no access to it. Your data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. If you wish to delete your data, you can do so by clearing the app data through your device settings or by uninstalling the application. Note: Deleting the app will permanently delete your journal entries, as we do not keep a backup cloud copy.
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We rely on the native security features of Apple's iOS to keep your local app data safe. We encourage you to protect your device with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
